i was having a bit of a block creatively... then some components i had ordered from mellisa at chinook jewelry design arrived... the resulting pieces have different 'feels' which i like (love)...

that really was how i was feeling when i started... it was ok to not know where i was headed and i felt freer...
i also have this chinese proverb kept around the house -'if we don't change the direction we are headed,
we will end up where we are going.'

hmm... so that one is more about life direction, the path, the way, the tao... the first one by lewis carroll at first struck me funny, like 'not good'... but, during the course of my walk this a.m. i realized that his applies more to creativity and is very relevant... it relates more to my stream-of-consciousness free association way of thinking...
