where is your line?

do you know?

we all have one...
the place no one should go past... not even ourselves...
a respect zone...

not selfish
but Self preserving...

some are aware of theirs, and carry the knowledge quietly...

some have shed their own blood, lost lives, in order to remember it...

for some it lies buried and forgotten
underneath allowances we make for others to violate the boundary...
which makes us complicit...
that is Self destructive...

for beneath it all is the silvery light of knowledge...
get quiet, you will hear it...
be still, you will know it...

your light...

it is your duty to protect it
for no one else will, no one else can
the way you must...

honor your line...

  2. Amen!!! Amazing how hard it is to pinpoint something that must be so primal...It is worth the work to find it!! And protecting it is worth the risk of being berated by those who think they have a right cross it.

  3. My line is similar to the double yellow on the road. I am a true libra and stand there considering both sides as the semi rushes towards me . ; ) xx

  4. So well said. Do our minds run on parellel avenues? This thought crossed my mind just this afternoon when I watched a scene play out...

  10. Sometimes I clearly know where my line is. Sometimes it gets blurred. A little like a line drawn in the sand that has drifted. But none the less, if I look closely I can find that line back again. Yes, we all need to honour ourselves and give ourselves our own dignity. We are worth it. We are worthwhile.

  11. We must have been psychically linked today-- my whole day was about this and how it played out in my past. I was determined that this time I would honor myself. Thanks for posting this, Mary Jane.
