no mud, no lotus -

this little gem of thich nhat hanh's has become something of a mantra for me.

i found myself slogging about in the mud without wellies on these past few months.

without wellies perhaps,

but abundantly with

the love

kindness

compassion

concern

and generosity

of others.

for this, i thank you -

  2. It's good to have you back! You've been in my thoughts and prayers. Fiona let me know what was going on...hope you don't mind. As always, if there's something I can do to help just let me know. Sending healing thoughts and lots of love.

  3. Miss Mary Jane, I hope that you are doing well. I have been missing your voice. It stirs the soul, your words. They make a clear path to my heart. I think about you often and send positive vibes your way. Enjoy the day. Erin

  8. Ah! You are feeling better. I have been neglecting you. Family & work issues and too much thinking about things I can't change. I need the sun. The warmth on my face instead of the STINKING SNOWFLAKES ~LOL~

You are in my thoughts, intermittently, throughout the day followed by a prayer for your strength.
    Much Much Love

  13. Great to hear your voice again! I read on someone's blog that you had back issues, been there last year, was awful and unexpected and depressing having your body betray you like that! Hope you are on the mend and feeling stronger everyday!

  15. Hi Mj - so good to see/hear you back in blog-land! Go gently and slowly and the creating will emerge, just like the lotus...a great reminder and a great visual. Here's hoping you get your wellies back on again soon.
