When I saw your earlier post I thought, what on earth is she going to do to make those links look good and blend in?? You did it!! I'm sure the bride will be overjoyed with her jewelry. It looks fantastic!
I wish I had a smidgin of your brain for jewelry design! I saw this post before the previous one (catching up on blogs tonight) and just thought it was beautiful. Then reading your earlier post - and how you were a little stuck on the design end on how to keep those stands separated yet looking stunning. Well, you nailed it! And there are always so many more projects for your fibers… ;)
Working for brides can be challenging - especially when their style does not include your favorite elements. You have done a wonderful job of working outside of your comfort zone (at least, I think this was outside...) and the clasp is beautiful, the earrings are a labour of love! But - isn't there a necklace? Are you holding out on us?

ReplyDeleteI was thinking of some sort of wire wrapping. I think that this was a good solution in keeping with her wishes.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day!

Very nice, Maire. Now it's not only a functional element but a design element as well. Beautiful!
