the cool grey skies
of late november
are no match
for the final
flickering
flames
of autumn...

but this is no contest...

the sky's job is to be the sky
the leaves' job is to be the leaves

and by the simple presence
of the other
each becomes more...

  1. I want a book of your poetic words by my table to inspire me. I am thinking you could make a Blurb book. I know I would be first in line to buy it. Truly you are chanelling Rumi and Gibran with these simple words and intuitive works of wearable art. You always move me. Thank you for that, my friend. Always thinking of you and wishing you well. Enjoy the day! I always do a little more when I read what you write.

  2. I love the way the enamel edge just barely breaks to whisper the color of the carnelian bead, a bit like the subtle way that autumn edges over into winter. Maybe that's why I could never live in a place where the seasons don't change. Each one has its virtues, there is no competition. All part of the cycle. Thanks for the thoughts.

  3. A unique thought in this day when everyone tries to be everything to all people and managers micro manage.

A simple thought, that reminds us to be who we are, shining in our own light and letting it spill on to others and allowing theirs to shine back.

    I'd buy a book too.
Much love...and I love the earrings.
