i have been enjoying working with hoops -
for their kinetic nature
for the way they can spin if you don't restrict them.
setting an om on each
allows them to act like a tibetan prayer wheel,
setting a beautiful intention out into the world
for all to benefit ...
So beautiful and inspiring!

ReplyDeleteyou are so uber talented..
transforming simple hoops to unique works of art with the touch of the smallest of details.
I came here the other day admired your bronze statue and got lost in the artists etsy site.
I'll email you this weekend...

ReplyDeleteOh, yes! A contemporary prayer wheel with a deep connection.
ReplyDeleteMary Jane, your new hoops are beautiful! And my goodness, so are your words. You really are a poet.
ReplyDeleteA contemporary prayer wheel ..... I like that.
ReplyDeleteMJ - so wel, designed and resolved - and filled with meaning. B
ReplyDeleteYou make us see things in a different way, you give new life to them. I love the idea of wheels spinning when unrestricted -and the loving restriction of art.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThe hoops are wonderful! Brings back memories of days gone by. There was a time when hoops were the symbol of the daring. The bigger the better. wishing you well on this sunny day.
ReplyDeleteCircles can represent so many thoughts and feelings. I like your concept. Mine has always been the circle of life and represents to me, my ability to speed and slow but always remain on the same path.
